Evelyn Oropeza, an inspiring Individual

I had the absolute pleasure of being able to sit and talk with Evelyn Oropeza, a broadcast journalist, with a bachelors degree from Columbia College Chicago, and a MBA candidate from Saint Xavier University.

Evelyn is the Coordinator of Community Engagement Programs at Columbia College Chicago. She is a bilingual motivational speaker to audiences who speak English and Spanish.

Oropeza is also apart of the Scientists for Tomorrow program, which was established in 2011 by Columbia College Chicago. This program  brings the whole community together and does so by integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM).

She is also a Latina Journalist, born in Mexico, who moved to the United States at just two years old. She is a former reporter for Latina Voices, and has three daughters.

She had many inspiring things to say in this podcast, I hope you enjoy!
